3000 Series

The heavy-duty fully mechanical 3000 Series offers slim-line access control for narrow stile aluminum and glass entrance doors. The lock has a control key that deactivates and activates the combination. Used as a day/night control, this key can prevent unauthorized re-entry after hours via the combination. The control key can also activate a latch holdback feature to allow free access during business hours.

Compatibility Designed for use with Adams Rite #4510/4710 latch mechanisms and with most Adams Rite egress hardware. Any standard mortise cylinder that operates the Adams Rite latch will function with a 3000 Series lock. Adams Rite key cylinders/latches/ egress hardware not provided with lock. Visual shield inhibits unauthorized observation of the entry code 

Sample day/night control

7:30 AM ................ Management gains access with control key; activates code use for employee access.

7:30 to 11:59 AM ...... Employees gain access by using correct code. Management's control key can override the combination at any time

12:00 NOON ............. Management activates latch holdback.

12:01 to 12:59 PM .... Employees gain free access (no need to enter code)

1:00 PM .................. Management deactivates latch holdback.

1:01 to 5:00 PM ...... Employees gain access by using correct code, Management's control key can override combination at any time.

5:05 PM .................. Management deactivates code with control key.

5:06 PM to 7:30 AM .. Door will not open, even if correct code is entered. Only the control key can gain access.
